Weeds are presented at the annual UnKrautKonferenz (weeds conference) in Karlsruhe. These inconspicuous, ignored or hated herbs can often be eaten or have valuable medicinal properties. The team presents the herbs very vividly and lovingly. My wife and I have also been presenting medicinal plants in sketch from for several years. The varied herb buffet during the break is also worth attending: unkrautkonferenz.de
The Botanical Garden in Tübingen is familiar to me from my studies – a gem and a treasure trove for all plant lovers. In the outdoor area, I am particularly fascinated by the beautiful and illustrative medicinal plant garden. Equally exciting are the Swabian Alb, the Alpinum and the indoor area, e.g. the Tropicarium or the Canary House. There is also a lot on offer: Exhibitions and guided tours for young and old. It’s well worth a visit – check the events calendar beforehand: www.botgarten.uni-tuebingen.de
If you’ve never seen a gigapixel 360-degree panorama, you can find one on my link site „Panorama Wurmlinger Kapelle“. You can find more of these fantastic panoramas at absurd orange, their developer and creator. The special thing about them – it’s not a simple all-round view, but you can also zoom in quite far and thus home in on distant objects. The highlight of the whole thing is that you can also have such 360-degree panoramas created according to your wishes: www.absurd-orange.de
if you have the opportunity to come to Oberstaufen in southern germany, visit NaturBuntLeben (natural colourful life). Everything is natural in this shop: handmade wooden furnishings, delicious homemade cakes and selected treasures to eat and savour. Plus special clothing from small manufacturers (and much more). But the best thing is the smile and warm-heartedness of the owner. I pop in every time I’m in the neighbourhood: naturbuntleben.de
